The Port Hedland Stockyard project provided the client with a visual representation of their stockyards in real time. The scene displayed data including the positions and rotations of equipment, as well as the types and amounts of ore in the stockyard.

The data was fed from a live OPC server, meaning that the values represent real-world values and coordinates. Information such as stockpile heights and shapes were represented in the scene from laser scanning data.

Users were able to navigate through the virtual environment easily through a variety of methods, including keyboard controls and minimap buttons.
